Dr. Roosevelt A. Albert, III
Dr. Ted Albert graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Upon graduation he opened South College Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Albert lives on Lake Martin with his dogs Ella and Macks.
Dr. Athema Etzioni
A native to Louisiana, Dr. Athema Etzioni began her journey to becoming a Veterinarian at Xavier College of Louisiana at New Orleans, where she received her BS degree in Biology Pre-medicine with a chemistry minor. From there, she was accepted in the Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing & Allied Health. After graduating from Tuskegee in May 2001, Dr. Etzioni went on to complete an internship and residency in clinical pathology, which set her on the path to becoming a Veterinary Clinical Pathologist. Currently, Dr. Etzioni is a USDA Accredited Small Animal Veterinarian doing relief work in Alabama and Georgia. She is also an Associate Professor and board certified Veterinary Clinical Pathology at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health. As for her family, Dr. Etzioni is married to Baruch Etzioni. Together they have three beautiful girls, Nyela, Zariya, and Imaan, and one handsome son, Akebalan. The family does not currently have any four-legged babies, but the children are very interested in having a pet one day.
Dr. Caroline Cain
Dr. Caroline Cain joined South College Veterinary clinic in June of 2017. Following graduation from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr.Cain worked at a mixed animal practice outside of Nashville, TN for 1 year before moving back home to Auburn AL. She is married to Matt, a captain with Auburn Fire Division. Together they have a daughter Colbie, born April 2021. Dr.Cain has Ranger -an Australian shepherd (pictured), Maybelle- a beagle mix rescue, Miss Juanita - a rescue cat, and 5 hens named Ruby, Scarlet, Heidi, Thelma and Bernadette.
